Young Researcher Prize

To encourage outstanding young researchers to attend the NUMTA2016 Conference, a 500 Euros Young Researcher Prize for the best presentation made by a young scientist has been announced.

Six admissible applications have been received by the deadline of May 16, 2016.

The Selection Commission was composed of three distinguished professors:

The selection process consisted of assessing the relevance of the candidates’ research, the novelty of the obtained results and their possible impact. The final decision was made after the applicants’ presentations at the Conference.

The materials/documents provided by each of the candidates and their presentations given at the Conference were not convincing for the Commission. Therefore, after an extensive discussion, the Commission decided to not assign the Young Researcher Prize related to the NUMTA2016 Conference.
